About Noosa Heads

Noosa Heads is a sub tropical paradise on Queensland’s Sunshine Coast.  Wherever you stay in Noosa – just 90 minute drive from Brisbane – you are close to nature.  See Australian wildlife in the trees and parks near your accommodation, swim, surf and hike in  Noosa National Park, fish the beaches and rivers, explore the coastal walking trails and stunning scenery.

Noosa is a place that you can really relax – but that doesn’t mean there is nothing to do.

Hastings Street and Noosa Junction

What is a holiday with out a little retail therapy, a bit of pampering at one of the many Noosa Day Spas and some great food and wine.  Hasting Street Noosa offers elegant boutiques, restaurants, bistros and nightlife just outside Tingirana’s front door.    Once you’ve explored Hastings Street, why not hang out with the locals and explore art galleries, hand made designs, bookshops or take in a movie at Noosa Junction.

Noosa National Park

Make sure you bring your walking shoes.  The Noosa National Park (the most visited in Queensland) is just over the hill from the cafes, restaurants, nightlife and boutique shopping found on Hastings Street.   The 7km Noosa Coastal Track is a must do.  It is an easy walk for all the family (including prams).  See if you can spot the Koalas who live in the trees near the park entrance.   Also keep an eye out for pods of dolphins and turtles swimming in the bays and the whales during their annual migration (Aug-Nov).

Top Sunshine Coast Attractions

There are a plethora of things to do during your stay at Tingirana Noosa. Start by exploring the picturesque villages nearby with their open air markets, art galleries, restaurants and friendly pubs.  We recommend a visit to the famous Eumundi Markets (Wednesday and Saturday).  Take a drive and visit Australia Zoo, Sea Life Underwater World, the Ginger factory.  Reel in the ‘big one’ on a deep sea fishing adventure; try your hand at sailing, surfing or paragliding; or take a whale watching tour.
