We stayed for two nights in late March for the first time and everything about this place went beyond our expectations , especially the staff on greeting and throughout were always willing to offer assistance and go out of their way to help, the place is immaculate and very well managed by the onsite manager . This is all on top of the beautiful rooms , location and facilities , I highly recommend . - Amy
A Tingirana Holiday Experience
Christmas lunch beachfront
Located just two metres from the sand on Main Beach, Boardwalk Bistro has perhaps the best position to watch the sets roll in over a glass of Christmas cheer… and Christmas in Noosa is special. The lights twinkle along Hastings St, oversized yet elegant and ornaments (this year in a nautical theme) decorate the fig trees and the ocean sparkles blue in the summer heat. Couple this incredible scenery with one of Noosa’s best beachfront restaurants and a delicious Christmas feast, and you have holiday season perfection.
Boardwalk Bistro will host its famous Christmas 2021 Menu this 25th of December with a very reasonable three course lunch or dinner over three sittings. Best of all, if the specialised Christmas fare doesn’t take your fancy, Boardwalk’s delicious a la carte menu will be available.
Used to a seafood feast at Christmas? The Seafood Plate of oysters, local prawns, ocean trout rillette, and grilled octopus awaits you for entrée, whilst those who love a traditional pork filled Christmas can level up beyond Mum’s ham to the Wagyu Prosciutto Terrine of chicken liver, beet hummus, artichoke and mix berry compote. Main is a choice between the very nonconformist Christmas fare of Oven Baked Barramundi with pearl barley, kalamata olive, chick peas, sweet corn, sundried tomato, roasted capsicum and romesco or the more traditional Slow Cooked Lamb with parsnip puree, broccolini, dutch carrots, kipfler potato and house jus. Christmas Pudding or Pavlova with the Boardwalk flair are on offer for dessert.
For those whose Christmas list would be complete with a ‘simple’ Wagyu burger (with pickle, onion jam, cheddar, beetroot, tomato, chips and aioli) or those who prefer a few more options, the a la carte menu will be available. This is also wonderful news for parents, with an extensive kids’ menu catering to most little palates. Be prepared for quiet activity in the restaurant, or send them on to the beach for sand castle fun.
This is a popular Christmas Day experience: book now to avoid disappointment. Give the kitchen (and yourself!) a break this Christmas at Boardwalk Bistro for one filled with cheer, ease and joy.
