Holidaying in Hastings Street is a truly magnificent experience, but for those looking to expand their Sunshine Coast horizons, taking a 15 minute drive down the scenic coast road to Peregian Beach is well worth getting out of Noosa for.

Situated on the open beach, Peregian is a delightful day (or even just a morning) trip for those interested in gorgeous boutique shops and gourmet food options centrally located around a village square.

For the discerning shopper, spend a few hours wandering through a number of homewares and interior design boutiques, from high-end galleries showcasing local artists to curated collections of coastal chic like Otilly & Lewis or Finders Keepers. Pick up classic linen at Carmel’s Designs, beautiful beachy threads at Luxe Tropic, or channel your inner boho at Bohemian Sundays. If you’ve left a furbaby at home,Peticular is a gorgeous boutique showcasing everything and anything your pet might need.

With a skate park backing onto the beach and a delightful playground guaranteed to wear down the boundless energy of children, Peregian Beach Village is also as child friendly as it gets. Evolve Mum Baby Home has beautiful homewares for little ones and mums, whilst the open square featured in the middle of the Village allows for coffee and playtime.

Browsing the arcades and shops of Peregian Beach Village will work up an appetite and on this score, the options are endless. For a mid morning recharge, tucked away is Le Bon Delice, a French Patisserie serving up delicious pastries and delicate Parisian treats, while Skal Coffee caters for those of the smoothie-bowl-grain-free-dairy-free-whole-foods crowd. Baked Poetry Café is a local favourite featuring light German fare, head to Raw Energy for a substantial and healthy meal while Sushi Wave is an excellent option for a Japanese lunch. Pitchfork is the stand out for high end food and a wonderful wine list with the added bonus of looking over the village square, perfect for little legs to stretch and play, while the more casual Peregian Beach Hotel has a great people watching platform and a surprisingly good menu for lunch and dinner with your pub tipple.

We stayed for two nights in late March for the first time and everything about this place went beyond our expectations , especially the staff on greeting and throughout were always willing to offer assistance and go out of their way to help, the place is immaculate and very well managed by the onsite manager . This is all on top of the beautiful rooms , location and facilities , I highly recommend . - Amy

The Tingirana Noosa has the most perfect location and the infinity pool by the beach is a dream. The staff here are really attentive and we would only stay here if we were lucky enough to visit Noosa again. - Sarah

Dear Tingirana, Thanks so much for an immensely perfect stay. Great staff, great people, great resort from the maintenance and cleaning staff up to the management at every level. We can’t wait to return next year.” - Bobby and Rosy

Our first time at Tingirana and will definitely not be our last . Truly a magical place to stay, our beachfront suite lived up to our expectations. Stunning views with the pool and beach at your doorstep. The staff were fantastic and always friendly and welcoming. Highly recommended. Our only request is for an ottoman to be placed in the lounge area when watching TV and relaxing. - Tom

Loved the location on the beach, and only a few steps to many places to eat. Friendly staff, well appointed rooms and resort, and very convenient parking underneath (which is needed in Noosa as parking can be a challenge). Hope to be back soon. - Annette
