We stayed for two nights in late March for the first time and everything about this place went beyond our expectations , especially the staff on greeting and throughout were always willing to offer assistance and go out of their way to help, the place is immaculate and very well managed by the onsite manager . As Hastings St emerges from the COVID-19 cocoon, the fact remains that Noosa is a beautiful destination for rest, relaxation and rejuvenation. Even though so much of our daily lives have altered, Main Beach and Noosa National Park are as lovely as ever, with Tingirana situated perfectly for guests to explore the world class and award-winning facilities showcasing the area’s natural beauty.
Step out of Tingirana’s beachfront gate with the family and there are a number of options to help you and your family make the most of our warming winter sunshine. Head left for a gentle walk down to the Noosa River mouth along the beach or through coastal bushland along the concrete pathways. Safe swimming can be had at the Dog Beach, near the mouth of the river, a generally well-protected area from the wind, making it the perfect relaxed sun, sand and swim spot for little ones.
For those after a slightly more demanding walk, head right out of the gate along the boardwalk and into the Noosa National Park. There are kilometres of pram accessible walkways following the coastal track, with spectacular lookouts out over Laguna Bay, various surf breaks and beautiful secluded coves. Ask at the National Park Day Use area about recent koala sightings, watch for whales, dolphins and sea birds hunting in the waves, all the while thinking about the takeaway coffee and muffin you’ll deserve on your return.
Back at Main Beach, there are plenty of delicious morning tea or lunch options to go with your caffeinated brew from a number of beachside kiosks and carts: some of Noosa’s best fine dining restaurants are now serving incredible COVID-19 friendly food options! Let the kids out of the pram for a play on the sand while you indulge in some well-deserved holiday fare.
