We stayed for two nights in late March for the first time and everything about this place went beyond our expectations , especially the staff on greeting and throughout were always willing to offer assistance and go out of their way to help, the place is immaculate and very well managed by the onsite manager . Noosa Fishing and Crab Adventures
For a slightly more serene fishing adventure (and one catering for those with children 6 years and older) the Noosa Fishing and Crab Adventures is an excellent way to explore the calm waters of the Noosa River. Operating as half day tours (morning or afternoon), the best part is the opportunity to have fresh caught mud or blue swimmer crabs cooked on board whilst you concentrate on catching your fish.
The ‘Jay-Lea’ is a purpose built punt with toilet facilities on board, providing all fishing gear, all-weather jackets, lunch and drinks. Excellent skippers give informative chats about the ecology of the river as you head up toward Tewantin and the fertile fishing grounds of Lake Corooibah or perhaps along the shallow waters of Lake Weyba. Bird and fish life abound in these pristine waters and this in itself, is a fabulous way to see a little more of Noosa.
Whiting, flathead, bream, trevally and the coveted mangrove jack are all targeted species on these charters, as well as the crabs pulled from their pots. With expert and intimate knowledge of tides, moon and seasons, the crew at Noosa Fishing and Crab Adventures are always ready to take you to where the fish are.
