We stayed for two nights in late March for the first time and everything about this place went beyond our expectations , especially the staff on greeting and throughout were always willing to offer assistance and go out of their way to help, the place is immaculate and very well managed by the onsite manager . This is all on top of the beautiful rooms , location and facilities , I highly recommend . - Amy
When most guests book their holiday at Tingirana, thoughts of cocktails and sumptuous meals, lazy days by the pool and slow walks with koala and dolphin spotting through the Noosa National Park are generally at the forefront of planned activities. Hastings St is renowned for more than the sport of Boutique Shopping however, with the Noosa Tri a stand out event on the Australian athletic calendar… and it’s held right on Tingirana’s doorstep. For this reason alone we are an enormous supporter of the event, but we’ve gone one step further, having the absolute honour of being the major sponsor of one of Noosa Tri’s best events: the Tingirana Noosa Special Triathlon.
As the only triathlon held specifically for people with special needs the Tingirana Noosa Special Triathlon is a wonderfully inclusive and safe event. Held in Chaplin Park, just upriver from the Noosa Yacht Club, the race features a 100m river swim, a 3km bike up and down Hilton Esplanade and a 500m run through the park. Despite this particular event having much ‘shorter’ distances than those set within the elite events of the internationally renowned Noosa Tri, the Tingirana Special Triathlon displays extraordinary effort from extraordinary people, something we all need to get behind.
