We stayed for two nights in late March for the first time and everything about this place went beyond our expectations , especially the staff on greeting and throughout were always willing to offer assistance and go out of their way to help, the place is immaculate and very well managed by the onsite manager . This is all on top of the beautiful rooms , location and facilities , I highly recommend . - Amy
After a walk through the National Park, pre-surf or after a morning trawling the boutiques, coffee in Hastings St is serious business. Ask a local and each will have their preferred brew and barista, and with coffee taking its place as one of the most important rituals of a holiday morning, it’s important to get it right. And let’s face it, whilst it’s almost impossible to get a bad coffee in Noosa, the following should give you a good indication of where to head regardless of when you like your caffeine hit:
Early morning- Café Le Monde
Café Le Monde has been greeting early risers along Hastings St with their coffee of choice for decades. Open at 6am and stocking Clandestino coffee, roasted right here in Noosa (head out to Belmondos for a look at the roastery and every kind of caffeinated beverage possible), Café Le Monde does life-affirming justice to the bean any time of day.
With a view – room service with Season or grab a take away coffee at Sails Coffee Cart,
It’s hard to go past Season for a delicious coffee served overlooking the beach, but of course, you could get it delivered to your room as well! Otherwise, tucked up in the National Park end of Main Beach is the Sails Coffee Cart, where grabbing a takeaway brew as you dip your feet in the sand couldn’t be easier.
For the Barista Wannabe - Aromas
Aromas is as close to Paris in Noosa as you can get, but you could also be mistaken for being in the midst of a Melbournian coffee house, such is the reverence for the bean at this Hastings St institution. With its very own coffee blended by award winning barista Tim Adams, the Hastings Blend is sourced from three sustainable farms in Brazil and Columbia, roasted on the Sunshine Coast and prepared by expertly trained baristas on Sanremo Café Racers, ensuring even the most discerning coffee connoisseur can be satiated at Aromas. Watching the passing foot traffic simply adds to the experience.
Mid-Shop Pick-Me-Up – Providore on Hastings
Conveniently located at the opposite end of Hastings St from Tingirana, Providore on Hastings is an excellent half way stop on a retail cruise through the boutiques. Utilising one of Noosa’s most revered roastery blends from Little Cove Coffee, this is great coffee served in a quiet and peaceful location. The homage to all things gourmet in Noosa doesn’t stop there, with an excellent locally sourced menu and lots of takeaway goodies available to serve up back at Tingirana.
Late Night Lover -Locale
Is there anything moodier, more alluring or sophisticated than an espresso martini served in a bar of dark wood, polished glass and muted lighting? Just about every restaurant and bar in Hastings St can offer a good coffee cocktail of the hour, but if you want to take it up a sexy level, perch yourself at Locale’s uber attractive bar and try their cold drip coffee Negroni ‘better than an espresso Martini,’ the Negroni Svegliato.
